Pregunta: ¿Por qué esta aplicación necesita acceder a varios componentes de mi dispositivo ? Dice que Up Pro necesita acceder a todo mi teléfono.
Respuesta: Diría que necesita esos permisos para enviar mensajes de texto, notificaciones push, correos electrónicos, etc. He investigado mucho y estas cámaras no están en la lista de vigilancia. La aplicación tampoco está en la lista de vigilancia, por lo que he descubierto. Cifran todos los datos de audio y video, lo cual es una ventaja en comparación con el 80% de los otros sistemas que vende Amazon.
La aplicación es una de las peores para usar. Hay numerosos informes de problemas de seguridad con la aplicación y la empresa china que fabrica las cámaras.
Hasta donde puedo ver, no se ha informado de ningún problema con este sistema o configuración.

Respuesta: Sin wifi, no podrás monitorear las cámaras remotamente desde un smartphone. Pero sí podrás configurarlas a través de un monitor o televisor.

Respuesta: A una distancia de 18 a 23 metros, la detección es muy buena. Mi compuesto es de 22 x 30 metros.
Pregunta: Si el sistema admite una cámara con cable, ¿qué tipo de conexión tiene? ¿Puedo usar mi cámara anterior? Gracias.

En teoría, las cámaras compatibles con ONVIF pueden funcionar con nuestro sistema, pero solo de forma cableada.

Exceptionally easy to set up and use. Literally plug and play and WiFi LAN access as well as Ethernet is a great benefit. New cloud-based remote interface is very easy to use, and clarity of images are great on both phone and laptop. Bought 3 (x 4 camera systems) to replace earlier versions. Great product, easy to install and pair additional cameras. SD and HD for clarity in daylight and darkness. Lots of storage for recall when needed. I purchased two systems and I am very pleased with both.
Very easy to set up, picture is very clear. The playback function is easy to use, and although i've only had it for a short period of time, it seems to record all the motion I need. I've connected to my phone as well as a TV. Monitor and both work seamlessly. Excellent purchase for the price!
Initially I was not as happy with this system, but as I learned how to use it I have more respect. Their documentation is charitable, but I was able to figure a lot of it out on my own.The main issue I had was the inability to directly access my recorded videos stored on the home DVR other than being directly on the home unit with a monitor and keyboard. To access via mobile, there's a cloud provider in the middle. I can understand the need for this when not at home, but when at home there should be a better way other than hooking a monitor to the home system and finding everything. Supposedly there's a way to use a web browser at home to directly access the DVR, but the support person mentioned this didn't work very well. I'd have to agree.When connected directly with a monitor and keyboard, the interface isn't very intuitive. But I eventually figured everything out. If I find a video I wish to retrieve, I need to plug in a USB thumb drive to save it off. Problem is, there is only one USB port which I need for the keyboard. So, I had to get a USB splitter, which wasn't a big deal.There is a mobile app, but you are only able to get 3 days of alert history. This may not be an issue for most people. There is a full history on the home DVR unit that goes back as far as you have disk space.The one thing that really did impress me was the history functionality on the mobile app for all the videos. You can't go back more than 3 days for alerts, but you can go way back quite far in time and pull the video for that time. And the date/time scrolling process is intuitive.I did try to reach support several times, and they did reply, but the support HQ appears to be about 12 hours off from the US. So, if you're from the US, expect the conversation to be a bit slow.I've since purchased another camera which was easy to add to the system.So, overall I'm pretty happy-- especially for the price.
