Question:Does it continually record or only motion detected
Answer:It will record on motion or continuously. You can set up each camera to do whichever option you would like
Question:Does this system record audio?
Answer:Yes it does. You select which one to activate in the NVR menu.
Question:Does it need its own static port to work properly when away from home?
Answer:No, it doesn’t need a static port.
Question:I have a couple long runs from the main unit to the other side of the property. 250+ feet. Would Cat6 be preferred on these longer runs?
Answer:Yes sir, however there a range limit in the footage. Not sure what it was at the moment. Hope this helps
