Step 1 – Planning: Walk your property and mark camera locations. Place bullet cameras 9–12 feet high, angled 15–20 degrees downward. Corner-mount PTZ cameras for maximum coverage. Avoid pointing directly at the sun or bright streetlights.
Step 2 – Mounting: Use the included templates and a cordless drill. For brick or stucco, use masonry bits and anchors. Metal siding? Self-tapping screws work perfectly. All OOSSXX outdoor cameras are IP67 rated and come with adjustable metal mounts.
Step 3 – Wiring (PoE systems): Run Cat6 cable from each camera to the NVR. One cable = power + 4K video. Use cable clips every 3 feet and seal outdoor connections with silicone and waterproof junction boxes.
